My 92 year old mother called GT after her heating was not keeping up with the thermostat. They came out the same day as an emergency call as she is a VIP contract customer.
On the first visit they were stumped about why the limit switch was coming on and not allowing the furnace to keep up with the thermostat. They recommended a duct cleaning suspecting the issue was low airflow. The duct work was very dirty. It had not been cleaned in many years. I had the ducts cleaned 4 days later. I called for a follow up visit because the heating system was still showing the same error codes and had the same issue of heat not keeping up with the thermostat. Again they came out the same day I called.
Steven took troubleshooting to the next level – he tested everything again and didn’t give up until he figured out it was the blower motor. This was a very difficult diagnosis and took significant time.
He didn’t have the part on the truck (it was 10:00PM) and said they should have it the next day. Steven left 4 portable electric heaters behind at no charge to keep the house at a comfortable temperature that night.
At 8:50AM the very next day I received a call to schedule the installation and the part was in their possession.
